In Matt 23:2 Jesus commands, “The scribes and the Pharisees sit on Moses’ seat, so practice and observe whatever they tell you—but not what they do. Most are FYI notice when statements made from the pulpit are unnecessarily offensive (such as putting down conservatives or saying the is no difference between candidates and parties) . Having said this, I know it is a waste of time ( mine and your).

For they preach, but do not practice.” Moses’ seat is authority of the scriptures not what they add or modify. I am pro-life, pro-family, pro-christ, and pro-integrity and I vote that way. I shouldn’t be put down by my church leaders for honoring God in my civil duties. Its been months since i was called in to a meeting with jerry smith and neil pritchel give the choice to shut up or leave.

Robert Culver’s book has been in print for 45 years per advertisement. I have also inserted the total text of the book below but it may be cumbersome reading online.

Like I said I think it is one of the best books written on Daniel. West possibly went too far in asserting dogmatically that several other Old Testament passages refer to the Millennium.

While I’m offended by others who choose dumpster casual instead of snappy casual fashions for worship, it only speaks poorly about them. It is far worse when worship leaders and pastors set a dumpy standard, knowing that they will offend some in the congregation and not care that they do. Or Would their behavior be normalized by the silence of others? I read the bible prayerfully and care about context.

Leader’s should represent reasonable standards to everyone in the church. You’ve taken “bible” out of your name and its counsel out of your witness at your peril.

The church leaders should do likewise and point out when our leaders (Republican or Democrat) don’t honor God’s standard. Leadership is and has been unreceptive to any suggestion on correction.

This can be done non-politically, but must be done. Your arrogant attitude is “we are leadership, you are wrong – there’s the door (like it or lump it).” Spoken like a pharasee, pope, or ceasar, not like a brother in Christ. But I love Jesus and hate what’s becoming of His church.

For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven. Only true followers can by the indwelling Holy Spirit. While my family and I really really do not want to leave the redemption church, I follow Christ. Sure those in sin may be offended, but let the sinner be offended by the bible, not by us. It seems quite simple in theory and hard in practice.

And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Your response, lack of response or attitude will reveal Christ or arrogance. Draw the line biblically, council those that sin to stop, and support Christian standards by enforcing them with staff/ leader standards and gracefully council members that are overly provocative or offensive.

God sees us as valuable, something that should be saved/redeemed.
